Far Cry 5 Alien Objects Locations and How to Complete the Collection

The vast world of Far Cry 5 is known for its intense cultist standoffs, but it also hides some of the most bizarre and entertaining side quests in modern gaming history. Players exploring the Holland Valley region will eventually stumble upon Parker Laboratories, home to an eccentric scientist named Larry Parker who claims to have discovered extraterrestrial signals. Assisting Larry triggers the memorable side mission known as Close Encounters, which tasks you with finding four mysterious extraterrestrial artifacts scattered across a nearby crop circle field.

Initiating the Close Encounters Mission

Before you can begin your scavenger hunt for alien technology, you must first complete Larry's initial mission, Free Larry, by disabling three electrical generators surrounding his laboratory. Once he is freed from his self-inflicted electrical trap, Larry will send you directly to a massive crop circle located just west of Fall's End. Arriving at the site triggers a sudden change in atmosphere, indicating that you have successfully entered the active search area for these rare items.

Locating the Four Extraterrestrial Artifacts

The first object is located near the center of the crop circle, resting right inside the stomach of a mutated cow that has been split open by extraterrestrial energy. For the second piece, you will need to look around the edge of the field where a dog is running around frantically with a glowing artifact trapped in its mouth. You can easily approach the dog or use a small distraction to get the animal to drop the object safely onto the grass.

The third artifact is located high above the ground, requiring players to climb a massive wooden silo structure standing near the edge of the farm field. You must use the integrated ladders to reach the top platform where the glowing piece sits near a small nest. The fourth and final piece can be found sitting tucked away near some metal machinery and hay bales on the western side of the perimeter.

Unlocking the Extraterrestrial Rewards

After collecting all four items, you must return them to Larry at his laboratory to advance his eccentric research goals. Handing over the collection unlocks the final stage of his storyline, leading to a spectacular event where Larry attempts to teleport out of Hope County entirely. Successfully finishing this bizarre extraterrestrial adventure rewards players with the Magnopulser, an incredibly powerful alien weapon that uses kinetic energy waves to vaporize incoming cultists instantly.
